In the year 2002 I was privileged to go on a weekend hiking expedition to climb one of the peaks surrounding the city of Abuja around Mpape hills from where I saw breathtaking and captivating views of the whole city of Abuja.

That singular experience inspired me to take the initiative of building a green hilltop estate spanning about 100 hectares in partnership and collaboration with other land allottees within the vicinity. It has been 16 years since we commenced land development and the creation of access, infrastructure and landscaping in line with the best international practices existing in other major cities of the world like Dubai, London, Paris and Shanghai.

The environmental footprint of the project will ensure that 100% renewable energy is deployed: hybrid solar, wind energy and fuelless generators.

Quintessentially, the mission and vision is to create a beautiful neighbourhood of our great city of Abuja surrounded by clean air dotted with medium height (10 floor) multilevel buildings. Designed to harvest rain water by creating water bodies which will enhance eco & bio diversity and balance.

The natural beauty of this hill which is interspersed with ornamental inselbergs formed by millions of years of exfoliation caused by temperature differences is worth exploring.

The administration of this gated community will greatly encourage renewable and sustainable energy such that by 2032 no fossil fuel cars and trucks will be allowed into the estate and only electric powered or natural gas powered cars will be allowed into the estate. Cycling will be encouraged by building cycling, hiking lanes and jogging paths.

The general ambience is planned to be an environmentally friendly neighbourhood with no walls surrounding each building and spacious recreational lawns and gardens as well a shopping and sporting facilities. It is intended to provide first class security services within the estate: 24/7 surveillance by well trained security operatives skilled in the handling of CCTV cameras, drones and specially equipped patrol vehicles and a monitoring base station.

The design and planning of the estate ensures that each luxury apartment will have a fantastic panoramic view of the city from the living room and balconies. The parks and gardens within the estate as well will have fantastic views of the city. The first phase of the development is elevated about 1000ft above the lowest Abuja city level which gives residents high altitude living within the clouds once in a while in the rainy season.
